The UK arm of Tactic has enjoyed considerable success with their Angry Bird’s range which continues to perform well. The recent launch of Disney Planes range has also gained wide distribution and good sell- through. The Disney planes range will be expanded next year. Tactic will preview its new licensed ranges at the London Toy Fair 2014. The portfolio includes


Beyblades Shogun Steel, Despicable Me 2, and other high profi le licences as well as Angry Birds and Disney Planes. Tactic’s focus on action-orientated games has paid dividends as the appeal of active games has


proven popular with a broad age group. For the younger age group, Tactic has the Busytown licence. The games and puzzles range is based on the books by Richard Scarry. Tactic’s Busytown ‘Eye found it!’ game comes to life with a two-metre long game board. The


young players solve mysteries with Huckle Cat and Lowly Worm, search form hidden objects and drive through the streets of Busytown and an activity fi lled farm. ‘Busytown Eye found it!’ is being supported from October in At Home Magazine. The October issue is a Christmas feature with Peter Andre.

There are soft toys as well as the Musical TV 9 which plays the theme tune, Cuddly Tommy and Tallulah Talking Plush, the Pufferty Train with Tommy, Tallulah and Tooteroo fi gures, and the Clockhouse Playset. The Baby Jake range of toys includes small and feature plush, Push-Along Diggery, and Astronaut Jake. The newest line in the Cloudbabies range is Bedtime Baba Pink. Other products include Pull-along Skydonk complete with Bobo White, and feature plush. Canimals launched on CiTV last year and has maintained a strong position on the channel. Currently broadcasting fi ve times a day, audience fi gures are in the top three amongst competitors for both the weekday afternoon and weekend morning slots. The Squeaky Canimals are available as single fi gures or as part of a three pack. Choose from Ato, Oz, Mimi, Fizzy and Nia in the single packs or get Mimi, Oz and the exclusive Leon character in the three pack.
