Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products will bring Family Guy, Sons of Anarchy, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, New Girl, Homeland and Ice Age to BLE. The Simpsons 25th anniversary in 2014 will see a year-long programme of product launches and collaborations. New films for 2014 include RIO2 and Book of Life, and a new Alvin & The Chipmunks in 2015.


Battersea Dogs and Cats Home will unveil new products at BLE. The Home is offering licensing opportunities in new categories using its own photographic imagery and original illustrations by Jason Chapman. Licensees are being sought for apparel, back to school, arts and crafts, games, homewares and gift.


Bulldog Licensing will be showcasing Plants vs. Zombies, Bullseye, football publication Shoot, and Sindy, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Bulldog will also showcase DreamWorks’ Dragons: Riders of Berk, Turbo, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar and Shrek.


Coolabi represents Poppy Cat and Beast Quest. Poppy Cat series two has been announced which will air in 2014, with 18 licensees on board. Beast Quest is aimed at 6-9-year-old boys with 11m copies sold to date. Coolabi also represents Bagpuss, Clangers and Ivor the Engine on behalf of Smallfilms and Peter Firmin, and Purple Ronnie.


Discovery Enterprises International will present its family-orientated franchises including its new female lifestyle brand TLC, its branded travel business Discovery Adventures, and kids’ brands, Discovery Channel’s Explore Your World and Animal

DRG brought the all-new Catch Phrase to UK screens in April 2013 and achieved ratings success in its primetime slot for broadcaster ITV. This has led to a second series which will air on ITV in March 2014. It is attending BLE this year to share the brand’s TV success with potential licensees.


DRi Licensing will be showing Miffy. New publisher Simon & Schuster will be rejuvenating the Miffy brand in her original publishing platform and age profile. New to the Roald Dahl licensing programme this Summer was The Green Board Game Company, and confirmed listings to date include Sainsbury’s, Argos and Hamleys. Also new are jigsaw puzzles in January 2014 from Gibson Games.


Entertainment One will be showcasing its portfolio of pre-school, pop culture and lifestyle design brands which include Peppa Pig, SO SO Happy, YouTube sensation Simon’s Cat, in addition to its award-winning pre-school brand Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom.


FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment collaborates with producers to build brands across its four key genres: pre-school, kids’ comedy, action/adventure and tween/teen. Brands on display include Tree Fu Tom, Strange Hill High, Kate & Mim- Mim, and Wizards vs Aliens.

Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop, Monopoly, Play-Doh, Tonka, Magic The Gathering, and Furby. Hasbro will present play statements bringing them to life across all categories including fashion, publishing, digital gaming, home, and electronics.


Hoho will be exhibiting for the third year at the BLE and seeking licensees and retail partners together with international licensing agents to represent their brands overseas. The brands on display include the CBeebies series Cloudbabies, Toddler Time publishing franchise, Mimi Good & Bibi Bad, and Abadas.


ITV Studios Global Entertainment will be bringing its wholly owned brands and third party representations to BLE. Highlights include Cut the Rope, news for Matt Hatter Chronicles, the 80th anniversary celebrations for Babar and major plans for Thunderbirds, both the Classic brand and the 2015 reinvention of the hit show.


Rainbow will be presenting a selection of major global brands including Winx Club, the brand that has over 15m viewers each day through 115 broadcasters worldwide and Mia, the hybrid of live-action and CGI animation and is a co-production with Lucky Punch GmbH.


Zodiak’s Mister Maker licensing programme includes P2 Games Mister Maker App, a brand new publishing title from Igloo, and a new DVD from Abbey Home Media. Zodiak recently announced Dennicci as apparel partner. The games category now includes Green Board Games. Giromax has also struck a deal to become a new craft partner on the Clay Buddies brand.
