UCAS description: Location: Tresham College of Higher and Further Education
Attendance: Students are expected to attend a wide range of workshops (including CAD and website skills, research skills, printmaking, photography, illustration and life-drawing), access the libraries on both campuses and attend taught sessions by module leaders. At other times students will also participate in work experience, enrichment activities and group activities – to get the most out of the course full engagement is essential. A part-time route is available.
Entry requirements: • A BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art and Design with a satisfactory reference OR
• A minimum of one A level with GCSE at C in English and Maths or equivalent OR
• A BTEC National Diploma with a satisfactory reference and equivalent English and Maths OR
• A relevant equivalent level 3 qualification with equivalent English and Maths OR
• Appropriate industry experience
Entry is subject to successful interview. You will need to bring with you a portfolio of work.
The course, taught at Tresham College, aims to provide an in-depth study in Graphic Design to meet the growing and challenging needs of the creative industries. Students have full access to facilities at the University and at Tresham.

Health and Social Care FdSc

Attendance: Two years full-time for the Foundation Degree or one year full-time for the Certificate in Health and Social Care or ten weeks per individual module studied.
Entry requirements: Applicants must have 140-160 UCAS tariff points, for example one A level at grade E or above (or equivalent qualification) plus GCSE English grade C or above (or equivalent qualification).
This course is aimed at support workers in health or social care/support and is designed to provide a theoretical basis for established practical skills. It is highly flexible with a number of pathways to match participants’ personal and professional development needs.
