International Reach
At The University of Northampton we are proud of the multi-cultural community we have nurtured on our campuses.
Being a truly international university benefits everyone, giving all our students the unique opportunity to develop international relationships by learning alongside peers from other countries and cultures.
For most of our international students studying and living in the UK is a new experience and we have a dedicated International Office and Welfare Team to help you settle in and a great social programme to help you make the most of your time with us.

Sanika Sonak, an international student from India, is studying BA (Hons) Human Resource Management and Psychology.
‘Being here at The University of Northampton is brilliant. Initially, living so far from home was a daunting prospect, but once I arrived here I felt at home and settled in straight away.
Everyone, from the staff to the student ambassadors, were extremely helpful during the orientation programme for international students. As for the staff, they are always helpful and have guided me skilfully towards my educational goals.
The flexibility this university offers when it comes to study was something that immediately caught my attention and I’m really enjoying the social life and surroundings here in Northampton.”
We have over 1,000 international students from over 100 countries choosing to study with us.
We have alumni living in over 150 countries, pursuing a range of careers. We regularly hold alumni receptions across the globe to give both our graduates and staff a chance to come together.
