Entry requirements: Standard entry requirements apply. A typical offer would be 140-160 UCAS tariff points to include a grade D or equivalent. However, a wide variety of qualifications are considered and we welcome applications from mature students. Applicants are expected to demonstrate an interest in sport and the sports industry.


This course focuses on the physiological function and response of the body in relation to sport participation and injury, the identification and treatment of sport injuries and the skills required of a practitioner within the injury rehabilitation process.

Attendance: One year full-time. Flexible part-time study options available.


Entry requirements: Applicants will have achieved a HND/ Foundation Degree in Sports Therapy. The course content is broadly similar to that of the Foundation Degree in Sports Therapy offered by Moulton College and The University of Northampton. Applicants would normally be expected to achieve at least four merit grades in the second stage Foundation Degree.


This course complements the skills and knowledge gained at Foundation Degree level and aims to provide knowledge and skills in sports therapy as well as equipping students to respond to challenges within the field of sports therapy and injury rehabilitation.

Surface Design and Printed Textiles BA (Hons)


UCAS code: W7W2 UCAS description: BA/SDPT Location: Avenue Campus Attendance: Three years full-time.


Entry requirements: Standard entry requirements apply. Typical offers are 240-300 UCAS tariff points to include an A Level in an Art or Textiles related subject, and/or a Foundation BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design. Applicants may possess a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, a Diploma in General Art and Design or other design diplomas. Applicants who may not meet the standard entry requirements but are able to demonstrate an appropriate level of ability will also be considered. Applicants are interviewed and are requested to provide a portfolio of their own work in art and design. Applications from HND students seeking direct entry onto stage two of the degree are also considered.


This is an innovative, flexible course allowing transition across disciplines and leading towards interior, gallery, craft or fashion outcomes. Students benefit from well- equipped workshops and undertake projects set by external contacts. Emphasis is placed on visual research, drawing for design and concept development.
