Fees and Funding

At The University of Northampton we are committed to helping you by offering superb value for money.

Tuition fees Tuition fees are payable for each year of the course.

The fees are subject to annual inflationary increases in subsequent academic years.

These fees relate to students commencing the first year of their undergraduate course in 2012/13.

No up-front payments Please remember you don't have to pay your fees up-front and, ‘Home and EU students can apply for a tuition fee loan from Student Finance England or from your regional funding body in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland (eligibility criteria apply). EU students who meet the eligibility criteria should be able to take out a tuition fee loan from Student Finance Services European Team.

Students only begin to repay student loans once they have left university and are earning more than £21,000 per year.

Support available from The University of Northampton

If your household income is less than £42,600 you may be eligible to receive The University of Northampton Bursary.

If you are in receipt of a Special Support Grant from Student Finance England and your household income is less than £5,000 you may be eligible to receive a £3,000 award from the National Scholarship Programme, funded jointly by the Government and the University.

Part-time tuition fees

The fees for studying part-time will vary depending on the type and length of the course you choose. These are normally calculated on a pro-rata basis. In some cases students studying part-time are supported by their employers as part of their career development.
