THE
FEELGOOD
FACTOR
The recent Clynol profile event at London’s Landmark hotel was an inspiring and fun-packed 24 hours. Charisse Kenion
aking the theme of change as its inspiration, the Clynol profile event really did bring all things Clynol to the fore. This is a brand truly LOVED by its people; from salon owners to future colour stars, and of course the Protégé team. The 24 hour programme began with
T
Clynol’s Managing Director Colin Sillery introducing the topic of change, before the marketing team and some glam models took to the stage to unveil the new Clynol Viton Speed 10 – professional colour results in just 10 minutes! The afternoon was packed with inspiration on both the creative and business side; award winners Tim Scott-Wright, Adam Bryant and Janer Stewart shared their experiences while showcasing some artistic looks, while GMTV lifestyle guru Pete Cohen had everyone questioning how they run their salon teams and lives. Also serving up creative looks was the Protégé team, with manager Jamie
Farrar interviewing them onstage in what was the team’s first show since being formed in March; definitely a team to keep an eye on over the coming months.
Before dinner took place Clynol devotees showed how much they loved the inspirational trio of Sharon Peake, Tracey Devine and Lisa Shepherd – who was also welcomed back into the arms of the brand – after each of the three showcased some amazing looks.
And then came the truly brilliant part of the night: a seat next to the cheeky and hilarious – and new presenter of Film 2010! – Claudia Winkleman. The TV presenter – who has some seriously glossy, sexy hair – revealed that she is fascinated by the world of hair, before going on to announce winners in the eight award categories.
Anyone who missed out on the event this year should really book a ticket for next year NOW.
