We headed to hip Clerkenwell’s Dust bar for an evening with the Sebastian Professional Cult team, but this was a hair demo with a twist…

evening was fresh and fearless. Forget your usual (yawn) hair

demonstration; at London’s intimate Dust bar the über brand’s UK Ambassador and Creative Style Artist, Sean Dawson, encouraged guests to get involved. Telling them to get up on stage and have a feel, and – more importantly – ask some questions. Subsequently the evening, the

second of three taking place in London, Edinburgh and Sheffield, was buzzing as the Cult team demoed some awe- inspiring looks on three models. Using their glamour-ensuring

range, Volupt, the team transformed each of the models with two different volumised styles which looked as

n keeping with what we’ve come to expect from the folks at Sebastian Professional, their latest Cult

though they’d just walked off a House of Holland catwalk. Of course Henry, their UK visionary,

popped in to show his support and snaffle a glass of champers, while we couldn’t get enough of the canapés, which included mini pizzas! As well as being packed full of

Sebastian clients, we also caught up with the original cheeky chappy Craig Chapman and his partner in crime, the amazing makeup artist Joella Butler

(check out our front cover and gallery for examples of this dynamic duo’s

work) and the simply brilliant Sebastian education team member Rainey. Unsurprisingly the evening was

a sure-fire success and it looks as though Sebastian has now taken the live demo to a brand new level.
