TRENDIES
Wannabe Trend Vision Award winners for 2010 attended a gruelling judging process at Wella Professionals World Studio in London. Industry experts gathered to scrutinise
hundreds of photographic entries; each one had an interpretation of one of the four Trend Vision trends: Midnight Stage, Nature’s Goddess, Nomad Couture and Techno Poetry. The finalists were selected for two
categories; Colour and Young Talent. Now the regional heats are set to take place this month at hotels up and down the country, with the finals set for September 27 at The Roundhouse in Camden, London.
CUTTINGCLEVER
Budding hairdressers attended an inspirational cutting workshop at Ken Picton Hair & Spa in Cardiff, held by The Fellowship for British Hairdressing. Fellowship Masters from Ken Picton,
Goldsworthys, Lara Johnson Lifestyle and Peter Prosser Hairdressing showed off their skills and passed on their knowledge to the eager stylists. A wide range of cutting techniques
were demonstrated on the models with contemporary styling techniques used to create the finished looks. The evening ended with each student presenting their model and outlining the technique used to create the finished look.
