Blizzard Conditions in Snowfl ake Britain
Tackle & Guns publisher, Nick Marlow, has his say... Shooting is under attack from
Meanwhile, angling is under
all directions. Angling is under attack from all directions. So what do we do? We all pull in different directions and cause chaos! “Oh it will never happen to us,” is something I frequently hear. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is happening to us, and now! The well documented and much talked about General Licence fi asco is the obvious talking point – but this is just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve got attacks coming from all angles and unless we can get our house in order and fast then the repercussions will be huge. This month, amongst others, we’ve also seen a renewed campaign to stop grouse shooting on Yorkshire Moors from the League Against Cruel Sports and the storm in a teapot about Drapers window display.
increasing threat. The PETA crew has renewed a fi sh feeling pain campaign and access to rivers is increasingly threatened by conservation groups looking to close out angler access. And otters are going to bite us very badly too. We live in a world of snow fl akes.
We know this, but we can no longer ignore them. I’ve said this before and I will say this again – it is time to join your relevant association so that we can all stand together and defend ourselves against these issues. If we stand alone, we’re easily picked
off. United, we are much harder to defeat. So please, it’s time to put down out political indifferences and stand together. It really is our best way. But there is another threat looming on the horizon.
In July this year the UK will become
the fi rst country in the world to block access to pornography on the Web. In order to view porn, you will have to prove that you are over 18. It is fraught with problems – not least of which will be that somewhere there’ll be a database of everything you’ve watched – with your actual name against it as opposed to an IP address… Can’t wait for that database to be stolen! But… and this is entirely supposition… what’s next? Hmmmm let me think… what else could the Government ban people from viewing unless they’re PROVEN to be over 18? Make use of that social media while you can people… you know it’s coming!
An exciting and rare opportunity to purchase a widely known niche fishing accessories supplier with excellent potential for development and growth.
Due to not being in line with their wider business interests and investment strategy the owners of Frenzee have decided to offer the business and brand for sale.
This niche brand is extremely well known in its field and though being relatively small (48page catalogue-650 SKU) the brand is regularly compared to its much bigger competitors.
Currently Frenzee only operates in the commercial fishery/match market with a relatively small customer base in the UK and Europe. The clear opportunity is to take the brand on to another level.
Frenzee has a very good reputation for innovation, quality, customer service, availability and has around 10.000 followers on social media. Frenzee is well represented by a strong team of sponsored anglers such as Jonny Whincup and Phil Canning who compete at the highest level on the UK match scene.
We offer several market leading products such as soft pots, HGV Trolley and enjoy strong repeat sales for pole accessories including pole floats, elastics etc many of which are unique.
The sale of Frenzee will include all stock, patents and brand rights and website. For further information please contact: -
