is a range that brings huge depth and versatility to the market. “The whole point of 3G is we’ve tried to offer a balance of high performance, transparent compatibility and great value,” says brand manager Mike Robinson, who’s seen the TKS through from its inception over a decade ago. “Sales of the TKS1001 have exceeded expectations but what’s been really positive is the strong sales of our other offerings, which goes to show that anglers at every price point are buying into the brand with confi dence.”

ept under wraps at iceTackle*, two new carp poles are incoming
from the brand this summer. The C1 and C2 carp poles come in at 13-metres and 14.5m respectively and will carry RRPs of £499 and £849. Echoing the M10 and M20 margin poles, the C1 will be compatible with the 401 and 501 poles, with the C2 fi tting the 601 up to the 901. These won’t fi t the TKS1001 because of the different mandrel used on that fl agship pole. The C1 will come with two additional puller power kits, with the C2 supplied with three kits. The guys at MAP tell us that these
poles fi ll a gap for anglers who want a tough, good value pole that can be used for heavy-duty work on commercials where they’d prefer not to use a more expensive pole. Extension sections from regular poles will fi t up the back end to take the C1 and C2 to longer lengths.
