or the last 40 years the rise and rise of the PCP airgun has been a steady


march, from a world of inexpensive spring guns made by British and German companies, to an international supply of ever more sophisticated pre- charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifl es. “Probably 70 per cent of adult air guns sold in this country are now multi-shot PCPs,” says Daystate’s Tony Belas. “And half the gun shops in the UK sell them.” Increasingly retail prices, as the market matures, are on the up. “Just 10 years ago it was diffi cult
