In at the deep end

Well, talk about a baptism of fi re! It’s been a while since I’ve put a magazine together from scratch and if I’m honest it’s been a bit of a shock to the old system! That’s not to say it hasn’t been enjoyable talking to you all…

Quality & performance since 1857

A

s you will have seen, Tackle & Guns has had a bit of a face-lift, and a little tweak of the old T&G DNA too. My focus has always been to produce a news-based magazine and even though this is always going to be a moving target, hopefully you’ll now all be able to share my vision on this.

Over the next few months I’ll be adding some more regular columnists. You’ve already read the fi rst (Steve Collett – page 36-37), and next month will be a welcome return for shooting industry legend, Mike Yardley.

He’s got some exciting and controversial topics to bring to the table that will certainly get you all talking. Product previews will also be getting the makeover. You’ll already have seen changes to this but expect more to come. If you would like to feature your new products to the trade ahead of your consumer push, please drop me a line. I hope you’ve enjoyed the magazine. Please remember, Tackle & Guns is here for you to use. Pick up the phone or drop me a line. It’s always good to talk!

Your call to action You’re reading this. Your customers are reading this. And your competitors too. So why aren’t you in this magazine? Coverage of your company starts at FREE and moves up from there. I’ll say that important bit again… it starts at FREE. All you need to do is drop me a line, make contact somehow, and let’s talk and see what we can do. I can’t say fairer than that, now can I?

Cheers
