Deeper launches mapping feature
G
lobal fi shing-tech phenomenon, Deeper, has launched a new mapping feature to use with its award- winning Deeper castable fi sh fi nder. Lakebook is the Deeper data manager, allowing anglers to plan their next fi shing trip with all the user’s maps available to view on a computer screen. Lakebook has intuitive features for exploring each map. Click on any mapped area to get exact depth and GPS data, use the measuring tool for precise distance and area measurements, and analyse the big picture using the bathymetric colour scale. Maps can be printed, or download the raw data to your computer in CSV format – you’ll get GPS coordinates plus depth levels. This data can then be uploaded to other mapping software.
