Iconic fishing sunglasses brand Costa keeps its fans hungry with a new batch of frame designs for 2017. TTW gives you a rundown of the highlights, covering a wide range of fishing and lifestyle situations.


WHITETIP Named after the fearless and curious shark the whitetip, which leads amigratory life and generally heads for warm, tropical waters, these sunglasses encourage users to do the same. Designed primarily for use on the flats, these core-styled frames feature gripper temple holes, cam- action pin hinges and a vented front to give you the eye of the shark while you scan clear waters for bonefish and GTs.


BLOKE Bloke is not only a term reserved formen who are tough, dependable and fun to be around, but also the name of a stylish new frame. Featuring an extra-large design, the glasses are durable and reliable thanks to cam-action pin hinges and bilateral fusion technology,which fuses the two colours of the frame for a chip- proof finish. Designed with core anglers and water lovers inmind, the Bloke features Hydrolite nose and temple pads to keep them firmly in place in rough waters.


REEFTON If you know your international fly fishing, you will know the Reefton is a Mecca for fly anglers. This town in New Zealand has 12 river systems within an hour’s drive and is world renowned for freshwater fishing. These large frames are the


perfect companion to explore any body of water and will stay put on larger heads under any conditions thanks to their co- moulded temples, Hydrolite nose and temple pads, and cam-action spring hinges.


KIWA The subtle aviator style of these glassesmakes themjust as suitable for off the water as on it. The slight curve in the frame reduces glare frombehind, and Hydrolite technology in the nose and temple pads keep the frames comfortably in place.Available in three frame colours and both glass and polycarbonate lenses.


COOK The Cook features a classic aviator- styled framemade of corrosion- free titanium,making themgreat for any saltwater adventure.The frames are also flexible, ensuring comfort and a secure fit with Hydrolite technology. It is unusual to have a saltwater-specific frame in such an ‘everyday’ style frame, which is a real unique selling point of thismodel.


TASMAN SEA Part of the Core collection, The Tasman Seas have gripper temple holes that keep these larger sized glasses in place. The bio-resin frames are not harmful to the environment and available in four colours.All polycarbonate and glass lens options are prescription ready.


SHIPMASTER The Shipmasters also boast an aviator-like framemade of corrosion-free titanium. These super-lightweight frames fit best on larger heads and have springless hinges,making them ultra-durable.
