PREVIEW 2017 New camera from Sentinel Systems Stand 5R21
COMMERCIAL vehicle safety specialist Sentinel Systems will be at the RWM Exhibition for an 11th year.
The company will be exhibiting its reversing systems, 360-degree cameras, Bike Hotspot system, and new LED cyclist warning sign for the refuse and waste market.
This year, having worked with many local authorities and private collection companies, Sentinel has launched a new LED cyclist warning sign – an addition to the Bike Hotspot system.
The award-winning Bike Hotspot system comprises four of Sentinel’s safety aids, including a front corner system, side scan system, a side camera and an external sounder, and can be cus- tomised to meet the needs of the vehicle and driver.
External scanning sensors are fi tted along the nearside of the vehicle as well as the front corner, which are linked to an internal audio warning to alert the driver of potential hazards. For extra customer satisfaction an external alert is sounded to warn the cyclist/pedestrian that the vehicle is manoeuvring.
As a new product for 2017, Sentinel’s new LED cyclist warning
sign provides extra protection for vulnerable cyclists. The prod- uct’s sturdy and robust design, and ultra-bright LEDs make it a great addition to the award-winning Bike Hotspot system.
The sign gives cyclists approaching the rear of the vehicle a clear warning the vehicle is about to turn left. The LED cycle sign can be fi tted alongside the Bike Hotspot system to the rear or the nearside of the vehicle or as a stand-alone product.

AIR-SEAL PRODUCTS will be exhibiting for their 16th time at RWM and performing a live demonstration.
The tyre-seal specialists will be showcasing their most popular product, the Heavy Duty tyre sealant range, which seals punctures up to 15mm and can be used for on and off road applications.
They also off er their Armour-Seal product for use in heavy plant operating in diffi cult conditions: experiencing punctures up to 30mm in diameter.

MCINTYRE, a JMC Recycling Systems company and long-running exhibitor at RWM, will this year release details on two new products.
The fi rst product is the McIntyre MP 1300 – a.k.a. ‘The Boss’ – a fi tting tribute to the company’s late founder, Michael Pownall, who died a few weeks ago.
