Tragic death of 18-year- old skip fi rm employee
PREMIER Mini Skip Hire, Suff olk, have paid tribute to teenage employee Zac Smith, 18, after he was killed in a tragic crash near Great Waldingfi eld.
Zac, along with his friend Kye Mclean, also 18, died on August 9th at around 10pm on the B1115 near Chilton Airfi eld, after being treated by ambulance staff and Suff olk Accident Rescue Service.
Promising footballer Zac of North Rise, Great Cornard, worked for his family’s skip hire company, Sudbury-based Premier Mini Skip Hire, who have paid tribute.
Zac’s family issued a statement through Suff olk police. They said: “Paul, Kelly, Ben and Alice are devastated at the loss of their beloved son and brother.
“Zac was never without a smile or a kind word for anyone who came his way.”
Teenagers Zac and passenger, Kye were driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa, and are former pupils of Thomas Gainsborough School, in Great Cornard. Their deaths came less than two months after Thomas Gainsborough pupil Izzy Cottrell, 17, died in a crash in nearby Hadleigh.
