to Corvette is housed by the German AI Germany company Masterrind. Dreamgirl is classified the maximum VG89 for a second calver and is an Explode daughter from the German KNS herd near Osnabruck. David Jones imported her as a calf and cites the combination of high type and index in her family as the main reason for the purchase. KNS Barolo, a son of Dreamgirl's Shamrock sired sister, is one of the highest indexing young genomic sires at the OHG stud. Dreamgirl is now in her third lactation and is due to calve again in October. Among her daughters at

Wiltor, Galaxy Dreamday is VG87 at two years and just recently a full sister to Corvette, Wiltor Chevrolet Dreamgirl, has achieved VG86 in her first classification.

Ideal linear and big milk A glance at Corvette's type linear shows a near ideal profile, with substantial improvements over breed average predicted in both mammary (+2.30) and legs and feet (+2.19). The slightly sickled leg pattern is also a useful antidote to a general breed trend towards straighter legs. A -0.85 on closer rear teats is the only slight area of caution on those females

which already correct in this trait.

Corvette has a massive 847kg PTA for milk, with as is often the case on high milk bulls, small negatives on components. This together with good fertility, lifespan and SCC adds up to a big PLI just under £500.

No Mogul, Robust or Supersire

Corvette will appeal most to breeders who like good type and PLI in combination, backed up by an impressive dam. He also stands out from the young genomic sire crowd with no Mogul, Robust or Supersire appearing in his pedigree. He is available from Cogent across the UK.
