Describing her Gary Hurley said: “This is a really lovely dairy calf, she shows super quality, particularly her bone quality. She had advantage over the heifer in reserve for her strength through her crops and loin.”


Knowlesmere Brokaw Chancel from Andrew and Jane Whittaker stood reserve champion having won the junior calf class. Born in June 2015 she is by Mr Atwood Brokaw, her dam is Styche Pronot Chancel 2 VG85 who was honourable mention at the All Breeds All Britain 2009. This is the second outing for this calf which stood second at UK Dairy Expo. She is maternal sister to Knowlesmere Sanchez Chancel EX92 who was All Britain junior two year old 2003 and bred the UK Dairy Expo junior champion 2016, Knowlesmere Windbrook


Yasmin Bradbury’s Peak Goldwyn Rhapsody stood top of the mature cow class with Ingleview Rebel Lamy in second.


Riverdane dominated the red and white championship with Riverdane Adventure Jodie Red champion and Riverdane Barbwire Advantageous Red reserve.


Riverdane Ex Rosabel stood first senior two year old and reserve exhibitor bred intermediate champion.

Winning the intermediate calf class was the March 2015-born Woodhey Golddust Ambrosia from Woodhey Dairy. Sired by Sonnek Golddust she is out of the Goldfish daughter Woodhey Golden Ambrosia VG86, one of seven generations of VG or EX dams.

the senior calf class, born in November 2014 she was purchased at the Borderway Black and White Sale 2015 for 4000gns from Cameron Baty. She stood second calf at Nantwich Show. This Cookiecutter Petron Halogen daughter is out of Lillyhall Superstition Bria VG88 who sold at the Northern Lights Sale for 11,000gns.
