Altea was founded in 1994 and OEG bought the compa- ny along with 17 gaming halls most of which work under the brand name Jackpot Hall. Nine are located in Riga and eight are outside the capital and they have a total of 357 slots. Altea saw revenues of around €3m in 2012.


Prior to purchase Olympic owned 21 casinos in Latvia with a total of 676 slots and 24 tables. Olympic Latvia saw 2012 revenues of €30m. During 2014 the gaming halls will all be re-branded as Olympic Casino and modernised to bring them up to the same standard as the other Olympic casinos.


OLYMPIC CASINO LATVIAis one of the biggest play- ers in Latvia and currently operates one casino and 38 gaming halls with a market share in Latvia of around 23 per cent. The company’s latest gaming hall opened in Daugavplis in February and overall there are a total of 1,040 slots across the gaming halls.


Casino Voodoo hosts 27 casino tables and 115 slots and it has been open for eight years. The casino also houses an OlyBet Sports Bar.

gaming halls, 27 operate under the OEG brand and 17 under the brand after being purchased from Altea in 2013.


In February 2014 OEG launched Olybet which are bet- ting points and currently available in six slot halls and as such OEG became the first gaming operator in Latvia to offer betting shops within its own operations.


OEG has 82 casinos in total in seven countries. In 2013 the group’s total sales revenue reached €145.3m of which Latvia is responsible for €39.2m. Operating prof- it in Latvia for the group was €14.7m whilst gaming rev- enue increased by over 17 per cent to €36.2m. Sales revenues in the Q1 of 2014 amounted to €10.4m.


DLVis a gaming software and casino equipment manu- facturer and operator. The company has been active since 1994 and currently has gaming machines in 33 countries. In 2004 the company began to produce its own software and there are 34 video reel games and six multigame programmes created using individual games base.

Two of the 41 gaming halls are bingo halls located in Riga and Daugavpils, which are the only ones in the country to be operated.


All gaming halls come with at least 20 slot gaming machines from standalone and jackpot. They include DLV games plus those from other companies such as IGT, WMS and Novomatic. They also include bar, billiards and are open 24/7.
