Lietloto is the third smallest lottery. Meanwhile Fortuna Baltica at one time also operated in Lithuania but has since liquidated. The company was the smallest of the lottery groups and saw a huge decline in profits in the early 2000s.
The lotteries are regulated by the Ministry of Finance. Between them they saw a total turnover of LTL174.7m in 2013 compared to LTL156.5m in 2012. Of the 2013 budget some LTL40m was paid in gaming tax.

There have been several draft laws attempting to intro- duce online gambling in the country and the latest was presented in January 2014 (XIP4393 ES2). There are already concerns this draft will not comply with EU law and that it has not really evolved much since previous drafts.
