able to measure everything and optimize your customer behaviour based on the metrics in all channels. The task is a combination of backend systems that support multichannel experiences, service standards that go through the whole offering and an organisation that is built for oper- ating an omni-channel gaming site. Try to do it in silos and you end up having several channels with different agendas.

What scale of gaming operation is this suitable for - ie. multi chain, single site?

I don't see a difference here. If you have one brand offline, then you recreate it online, too. If you have an umbrella of brands, then you may need to deliver dedicated online experience for all of them. Thus multichannel may mean more development and operational work.

Are there any additional regulatory factors that should be considered when considering this solu- tion?

Based on my experience in Finland and other European countries, yes there are. They vary on each territory and you need to be prepared for it. Also, the regulatory bodies are on many occasions not prepared for things that you may want to build. The overhead cost for solving the regulatory requirements can climb very high and sometimes even be a showstopper for your most creative ideas.

What should operators focus upon in the creation of their online equivalent?

Talent. You need to have the best team. Great online gaming experiences and business is built by the best talents. You need to secure them on every discipline.

Operators need understand that online gaming is a long term investment and that online experiences are built iteratively. Measure everything, tweak and optimize relentlessly and never stop doing it. Make deals with innovatively thinking vendors
