The BCN World tourist project planned for Vilaseca and Salou, Spain as part of the existing theme park, continues on track and is currently adapting to new circumstances that have taken place in recent months.
Specifically, the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia continues to develop the Urban Master (PDU) Plan linked to the site included in the Recreation Center and Tourism (CRT) in Vilaseca and Salou, whose final approval the Generalitat estimated at approximately 12 months and is con- ditional to the start of construction of the complex.

The definition of the urban master plan is intend- ed to prequalify companies linked to BCN World who are continuing to work on the design of each of the integrated resorts. Currently, Veremonte has decided not to exercise the option on the grounds of La Caixa, which expired in 2014.
Once the conditions of the Urban Master Plan and casino licenses contest are known, the shortlisted companies will compete to implement their proj- ects. To do this, they should have acquired the land required for the construction of their project.
Meanwhile, BCN World continues to receive inter- est from new groups of investors and operators, confirming its strategic direction and viability to become a major leisure complex in Europe. To date, the BCN World project includes Veremonte companies, Melco, Hard Rock, Caesars, Value Retail, Melia and Port Aventura.
