CASINOS AND SLOT HALLS There are six casinos in Latvia all located in Riga bar a


seasonal casino in Jurmala which is only open in the summer, and between them they operate 65 table games and 138 slots.


The Gambling and Lotteries Act states a casino must have 10 gaming tables minimum if located in Riga or five gaming tables minimum if located outside of Riga and gaming equipment must be owned by the capital company with relevant licence. The main five casinos:


777 CASINO - There are two of these operated by NB located in Riga.


ROYAL CASINO SPA AND HOTEL RESORT is operated by NIKS and this five star resort which is just 15 minutes walk from the old Riga town. It houses the casino which has 12 gaming tables and slots plus a pri- vate VIP hall.


EUROPA CLUB CASINOis operated by Furors. The casino offers 14 table games and various slots. There is also a VIP lounge. Furors also operate the Klondaika gaming halls.


VOODOO CASINOis operated by Olympic Casino and it said to be the largest state of the art casino in the Baltics. It offers 21 table games including Russian Poker, Texas Hold ‘em, Draw Poker, 5card Poker, Blackjack and American Roulette plus 115 slot machines. All slots have EzPay payment ticket system. The casino is located in the Radisson Blu Hotel.
