Motor Dealer Awards looked for evidence of the delivery of a bespoke service to the commercial vehicle market; a strong understanding of the needs of the customer and the ability to meet the individual needs of customers. Close Brothers Asset Finance


was commended for ‘showing outstanding commitment to training the next generation of commercial vehicle finance specialists’. John Fawcett, CEO of the

STEVE AND MICK JOIN THE TEAM


A company which specialises in contract packing, warehouse services, logistics and E-commerce fulfilment has recruited two new key members of staff. Walkerpack has appointed Steve Tiley as its new


Sales Manager and Mick Cupoli as Operations Manager for Walkerpack and its Technicover protection products. Steve has more than 20 years of


experience of customer facing and strategic business development roles. He said: “I will create and


execute Walkerpack’s short and long-term business development activities. “Our aim is to develop our


existing sectors as well as target new sectors and develop new value added services.” Mick has a background in

manufacturing, operations and has been a business owner. He will support Walkerpack’s growth strategy and


continue to develop existing operations including the Technicover element of the business. Walkerpack is a privately owned company which is


based in Northamptonshire and Lancashire. It has more than 50 years of experience of working


with the automotive industry and has extensive links with the manufacturing and retail sectors.


TW Foam Converters Ltd is a specialised company that supplies foam products of high technical specification.


Mick Cupoli and Steve Tiley of Walkerpack On average it packs more than 500,000 items every


week and it has a wide variety of relevant accreditations, including ISO 9001 and 14001. The Technicover side of its business manufactures


custom designed protective bags from thermos plastics and industrial textiles in Northampton. These are used predominately in aerospace to cover aircraft engines when they are being transported.
