Building Business has helped staff of all levels to boost confidence and manage behaviours, identify and work on leadership styles, improve communication skills and develop future-proof strategies to grow a sustainable business. Ruth Roan (pictured), owner of Building Business,
said: “I have been working with start-ups and small to medium-sized businesses for more than 10 years now, helping them to better market themselves, improve sales and then grow as a result.
“Part of making these changes relies on making sure
that every single member of the team is equipped with the necessary skills and feels confident in what they are doing. This goes for junior trainees right through to senior management, with many of the same fundamental skills being applicable to different roles.” Ruth has identified the top five transferable business
skills key to success in any organisation: 1 Confidence 2 Motivation and learning how to get the best out of people
3 Communication skills and how to handle conflict 4 Goal setting 5 Being adaptable to change
