BUSINESS REPORT LAUNCH OF NEW

AGENCY IS GOING GLOBAL

Launched just three years ago, a local content marketing agency already boasts an array of national and international clients. Based in Northampton, JBH – The Content Marketing

Agency specialises in creating and distributing content, campaigns and digital experiences to support brand objectives. Renowned as a leading provider of interactive infographics, the agency prides itself on giving its clients a unique competitive edge both creatively and commercially. Marketing director Jane Hunt said: “Myself and my

colleagues were working for another agency when we decided to launch our own content marketing agency.

“At the time there were plenty of graphic design and

marketing agencies but there weren’t any specialising in content marketing, so this set us apart. “We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved. We’ve

developed a very strong presence - ranking on the first page of Google and our clients include Oxford University Press, the second largest online poker network in the world and major online dating websites. “One of the reasons why big brands come to us is

because we’re pioneers of bespoke interactive infographics for digital PR and outreach.”

BUSINESS FORUM An exciting new forum has been launched to champion Chamber members’ voices in the corridors of power. The new Business Council, launched by the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with its sister Chamber Milton Keynes Chamber, enables businesses to share their views on issues pertinent to them. This is because the Chamber recognises that even the most successful businesses – large or small – are hamstrung by challenges such as access to finance, skills and infrastructure. The council’s findings will lead to

the creation of a Business Manifesto which the Chamber will use to help it successfully lobby local authorities and MPs on behalf of businesses. The council has so far held two

meetings and its inaugural meeting was attended by BCC director general Dr Adam Marshall. He said: “Forums such as this

provide the ideal platform for the BCC to fulfil two of its four core functions, which forms the organisation’s foundations – place and voice – both of which are critical to representation.”
