SKIPPERED FLOTILLA
If you’re a complete beginner and think skippering your
own yacht is pretty much out of reach, think again. With our new skippered flotilla holidays (which are available from Vounaki Beachclub in Greece), you’ll feel totally at home on your yacht and having fun in no time!
You’ll be learning to sail with the help of your own
personal skipper. You’ll be surprised how easily it all falls into place and you can even pick up a qualification along the way, which will come in handy, as you’re bound to catch the sailing bug.
Who it's for It’s just perfect for those who’ve never sailed before, but this holiday isn’t just for beginners. If you can already sail, but haven’t any qualifications, then this is just what you need. You can enjoy your sailing holiday and pick up qualifications at the same time (subject to assessment). How does the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) or RYA Day Skipper sound?
How it works We’ll meet you down at the yacht pontoon and your skipper will show you around your home for the next week, your very own yacht. You’re then free to choose your cabin and settle in for your first night on board.
The following morning your skipper will join you on deck. Before you know it you’ll be leaving your moorings behind and setting sail. This is when the fun really begins!
