Messini Beachclub has a huge, unspoilt, sandy beach that stretches as far as the eye can see. It’s great for all watersports, especially sailing. Or you might just want to find a peaceful spot on the sand to relax in the sun.

You can see the unique, contemporary and minimalist design of Messini Beachclub from a mile off. It’s located in the southern Peloponnese, one of Greece’s least discovered corners. You can really relax here, but if you want to get out and about you can.

The local area Step outside the beachclub and you’ll know you’re in rural Greece; the immediate area is fairly sleepy.

In contrast, the lively, cosmopolitan city of Kalamata has a lot going on. The waterfront is lined with tavernas, restaurants and bars. Culture vultures will be in their element. You could catch a play or music performance in the open-air venue of the historic 13th century ‘Castle of Isabeau’.

Activities on the water If you’re an early riser, you can start the day the right way with a pre-breakfast water skiing or wakeboarding session.

Sailors and windsurfers have a more laid back start if they choose to. Head down to the beach around midday or after lunch, when the breeze kicks in, to make the most of the sailing and large sailing area. Why not also try kayaking or stand up paddle boarding.

Activities on the shore There’s so much variety to the cycling here, technical climbs, rolling descents and olive groves for the mountain bikers and some long open roads for the road cyclists. It’s one of our best beachclubs for mountain and road biking, so if you love life in the saddle, this is the place for you.

Back at the club, stretch and relax or push it to the max with a high-energy class on the fitness deck by the beach. And with seven tennis courts, you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of coaching and free play. If you’re a regular player and would like to get more from your game, why not get some intensive coaching with our premium tennis pack?

New for 2017 there's a climbing wall at the beachclub. If you like it, then for a little extra, you can book to do some rock climbing. The site is about an hour from the beachclub with more than 30 climbing routes.
