Non-British Citizen passport holders or British Citizens holding a UK Passport issued abroad or holders of British Subject Passports should contact the appropriate consulate or embassy for advice.

If you need to apply for a passport or renew an expired passport, you should do so well in advance of travel and at least four weeks before. If you are 16 or over and have never had a passport in your own name, you should apply for one at least six weeks before your holiday. The UK passport service has to confirm your identity before issuing your first passport and will ask you to attend an interview in order to protect your identity. If a visa is required, don’t leave until the last minute – allow plenty of time. You may not be able to travel and insurance may be invalid if the names on your passport and travel documents don’t match. If any member of your party changes their name, we must be notified immediately so that we can change booking documentation. For more information on passports, applications and general enquiries, please contact the Passport Office. Visit: www.direct.gov.uk/passports or telephone: 0300 222 0000.

How to find out about visa requirements The Foreign and Commonwealth Travel Advice Unit provides information about visa requirements, frequently updates advice for those travelling outside the UK and also provides contact details for relevant Embassy’s gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

Turkish visas British visitors to Turkey are required to obtain a visa to enter the country. You can obtain your Turkish visa on- line from the official government website www.evisa.gov. tr at a cost of $20 per person. You are no longer able to obtain a visa on arrival at the airport or border gate.

Advanced Passenger Information - API You must provide this information before you travel; check your e-ticket for more information, including details of when your API must be submitted by. Failure to provide the required data may result in carriage being denied.

If you are visiting a European Union (EU) country you should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) and take it with you when you travel. The EHIC can be obtained free of charge by completing an application form available from main Post Offices and from www.dh.gov.uk/travellers. Please note, the EHIC is in addition to Travel Insurance, not instead of it.

Your accommodation and resort

Your room The rooms at our beachclubs are split into three main categories. The majority are called “club” rooms. At most of our Beachclubs we have some “premium” rooms too. Premium rooms may be bigger; be more convenient for some of the facilities or have a particularly special view. At some of our beachclubs, there are a small number of “economy” rooms. These rooms may be smaller, less convenient or have a less-attractive view - it varies room-by-room, beachclub-

by-beachclub. These rooms are a great value way to enjoy a Neilson holiday; yes it’s a cheaper room but you still get to enjoy all the great facilities and activities the beachclub has to offer. In addition to these three types of room, many of our beachclubs also have a range of suites and interconnecting rooms that are great for families.

Local charges Unless we have stated that a service or facility is included or free in our accommodation descriptions you may be asked to pay a charge locally. For example minibar, satellite TV, telephone calls, internet, Wi-Fi, health and beauty treatments, drinks, snacks, ice creams and meals not included with our board basis.

Nights in your accommodation Your accommodation is usually reserved for you from 12 noon on the day of your departure from the UK. In some cases depending on your flight times you may arrive in the early hours or during the course of the morning. Your accommodation should be immediately available to you and in this case is classed as the first night of your holiday. Rooms are normally vacated at 10am on the last day of the holiday, yachts at 9.30am. On some occasions there may be several hours to wait before the departure of your flight home. In such cases a room may be made available for changing and storing luggage. It is possible that you may lose a meal due to your particular flight times.

Views from a balcony / terrace Rooms described as having a pool or sea view may not have a full pool or full sea view because of plants or buildings blocking the view.

Late check-out Late check-out is available in beachclubs where the flight departs late in the afternoon or evening. It’s available for a supplement, bookable before departure or locally and subject to availability.

Laundry service All of our beachclubs offer a laundry service. Clothes are returned, washed and folded the next day for a charge of approx. €25 per bag

Paying your bill Our exclusive beachclub resorts operate a tab system. You can either settle your bill every few days or leave it until the end of your holiday. Payment can be made in cash (local currency or sterling), or by credit or debit card.

Camp or ‘Z’ beds Up to the age of 12 years is our recommendation for ‘Z’ beds. If you wish a child up to the age of 14 years to use this facility it is at your own discretion. Adult guests should not use them.

Internet access

All clubs have Wi-Fi in the public areas; this is available for use free of charge. All resorts in Greece and some in Turkey have a Wi-Fi- service in the room for an additional charge. In all cases we cannot guarantee an uninterrupted service, connection may be restricted at certain times of the day and technical issues may cause temporary withdrawal of internet facilities. Also, we cannot guarantee the internet speed will be the same as you experience in the UK.

Equipment failure Can sometimes result in the withdrawal of some watersports facilities. We carry out the repairs as soon as possible.
