Fitness Children in Wave Riders & TAG can also join in with the adult fitness sessions. When not in club, children wishing to use the sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and SUP equipment must get permission from their parents and the beach supervisor before being allowed out onto the water. A parent or guardian must accompany children in school year 8 and below at all times when out on the water.

What to bring?

All children in our clubs (with the exception of TAG) get a rash vest. Younger children (up to Sharksters club) also get a sun hat and drawstring bag in their club colours on arrival. We also have lots of baby baths and cots in resort that can be requested for your room prior to arrival. Pushchairs are also available once in resort, but cannot be pre-booked and are subject to availability. Our beachclubs have an on-site shop or there are nearby convenience stores all stocking baby wipes, nappies, formula and other useful baby bits.

24-hour baby room

Every beachclub has a 24-hour baby room, a dedicated space for you to make your babies’ meals, warm formula and sterilise bottles.

Baby booster A baby booster pack can be pre-booked for £30 per week, which includes microwave in your room, a bottle steriliser, a chair baby bouncer and a changing mat.

Toddler pack Add a toddler pack to your room for just £15 per week, and we’ll put a microwave and changing mat in your room – all very handy of you’re travelling with younger Sea Urchins.

Health matters If your child falls ill during the holiday, you will be expected to take over care until there is no further risk of the illness spreading. Please note a doctor’s certificate may be required.

Additional needs

We operate an equal opportunities and inclusion policy in all of our kids’ clubs, we work together with you to cater to your child’s individual needs. Please assist us by informing our reservations team when booking of any additional requirements your child may have. The more information you can provide us with the more certain we can be of catering to you and your child’s needs. Some children do not settle into our clubs, we will work with you to help them, however if they fail to do so we may ask you to remove the child to avoid causing them and other children distress. It is important to note that we provide children’s club facilities and if your child has any special needs or requirements you must pre- book and pay for one-to-one care. One-to-one care is subject to availability charged at a cost of £50 per child per week.

Supervision and responsibility

We will be responsible for your children whilst they are in our care, we will ensure that they are supervised at all times. We ask that you do the same whilst they are in your care. Due to best practice and health and safety reasons we do not offer in room babysitting. We do not promote the use of baby listening devices and children should be supervised at all times, never being left in rooms unsupervised. Our child protection policy is available on request. For more information on health and safety, care ratios, evening care, what to bring, menus and sample days see www.neilson.co.uk/beach/families.
