Jávea Players: ‘Supercalifagilisticexpialidcious’ describes the Players Summer Show, Truly Andrews, 4th to 9th July at the Casa de Cultura. Direct from the UK, this much acclaimed tribute to Julie Andrews devised and performed by singer actress Aimi P, features the songs made famous by this much loved star. Pre-show enjoy a three-

Networks Theatre: The Company presents its children’s theatre course, ‘Who Shot the Sheriff?’ The play tells the story of Junior who dreams one day of becoming a cowboy just like his hero The Lone Ranger. But Junior won’t get the cowboy hat that hangs on the wall until he’s tall enough, or clever enough to reach it. This show is reserved for students and families. Rojales Pantomime Group: The group are reforming and looking for actors, dancers, singers, back stage crew, or anyone interested in generally helping. They are hoping to perform a production of the pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in January 2017. Rascals: Feed-back shows that their spring show was well received and Rascals hope everyone had a most enjoyable evening. A well-deserved break is now in place until September when rehearsals start for their

Sounds Familiar: Sounds Familiar has started rehearsals for their next show in Calpe in November and December, a musical adaptation of ‘A Christmas Carol’ and are looking for new members to join the cast. Stagestruck:


ODCA are currently resting for the summer but will still be reading new scripts for possible inclusion in their autumn show and hold workshops to hone their acting, singing and dancing skills. The group are taking a well-earned rest after another successful production. Performances of ‘Another week in Paradise’ were well received with two out of the three nights almost sold out.
