Female Focus Puppy Parties

All pet owners are aware of how important is it to socialise with pets, but it is most important when they are puppies. Most owners will wait until their puppy has had all of their innoculations, but by that time the window of opportunity is almost closed.

The most important age to socialise with a puppy is between two months and four to five months; during this period they should encounter most things that they will need to deal with as adults, for example meeting large dogs, bicycles, and confronting the other phobias that pets can develop.

We believe the most important thing for a young puppy is to learn how to play, and this is why puppy socialisation parties are so great. The puppy is not only learning how to play but also how to meet and greet fellow canines, without the risk of them getting hurt or scared by an adult dog.

These parties are not only great for puppies but also for owners, because it gives puppy owners the chance to get together and discuss any issues, training tips, and new tricks, with the bonus of a professional offering the best advice for their puppies, and of course the chance to meet new friends.

Going to a puppy class in a way is very similar to playschool for our children. It is educational and fun at the same time, and just like playschool, the puppy learns how to deal with different characters, temperaments, rules and gains some fantastic new skills to develop them into outstanding adult dogs.

We are setting up some great puppy parties, so if you have a young puppy and would like to come or find out more information please contact Francesca or Maria Carmen at Clinica Veterinaria El Puerto in Javea.
