The Calpe and Benissa Lions gain support from Local Businesses.
The Calpe and Benissa Lions have recently announced that they have collaborated with the local business group CBBA (Costa Blanca Business Association) and Blacktower International Financial Management International.
The CBBA have pledged to sponsor the rental costs of the The Calpe and Benissa Lions Charity shop located on Pintor Sorrolla, Calpe for the month of July. Details of all the businesses concerned can be found displayed in the shop during July The CBBA comprises of a group of local businesses, all legally registered and accountable in order to ensure members can recommend each other. Alan Goswell marketing manager of the CBBA commented ‘We are happy to support the Lions who do a great deal of good in the areas where many of our business members are based, I am looking forward to a long and fruitful association with The Calpe and Benissa Lions.’
Blacktower has now sponsored the Lions for 4 consecutive years with Keith Littlewood being an Adviser for Blacktower and an active Lion during this time, it is a natural coming together for the business and Association.
Malcolm Saunders, treasurer of The Calpe and Benissa Lions commented ‘This is just the beginning of The Calpe and Benissa Lions trying to encourage local businesses to support charity in this area while at the same time benefiting by association with the Lions, and the members and everyone in the area who in turn support the The Calpe and Benissa Lions’.

Beautiful Dance Paintings at Studio 23, Javea Port.
International award-winning artist Jan Calderwood will be showing beautiful new dance paintings in a new dance studio in June.
The event starts with an evening of cava and nibbles on Saturday 18th June from 6-8pm. Proceeds will go to MABS charity.
Come and see lovely paintings of ballet, tango and flamenco and browse the cards and prints for sale. The paintings will be on display throughout the summer.
Studio 23 is open most evenings 5.30 - 8.00, Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Phone 691 972 115 to check opening hours.
