So you know, we’ve still got some things coming up for this year.

Producer John Paul White and Donnie.

wanted to say, I just got a song, one of mine and Ben’s songs is in a movie. Comes out this week, I think. It’s called Mississippi Grind, with Ryan Reynolds - and they used my buddy, Marshall Chapman, you know Mar- shall…

Marshall is a friend of mine. Oh yeah?

She was born right here where I live Spartanburg, SC. She played Ryan Reynold’s mother.

Oh! Great! And she’s a blues singer. So he goes in this club and she’s singing “Rainbow Road,” a song me and Dan wrote.

Oh, man. So… that comes out… I haven’t seen it yet… Anyway, we’ve got Chicago next week and back up to New York, playing Joe’s Club up there. So we’ve still got some shows and we’re having a little – I wish you was in town – we’re doing a CD Release party Friday night.

I wish I could be at your thing, man that would be so cool. I’m glad you re- minded me of that movie because I had heard about it. Marshall mentioned it months and months ago, maybe a year, I don’t know but yeah, I’m glad to hear your song is in there and everything. Yeah, that’s always good. It’s good to get songs in movies - now that’s a good thing to try to get into. I was going to say, our

song “Breakfast in Bed” by Dusty (Spring- field) was in Godzilla, the movie that came out last summer.

Oh my goodness! (Laughing at his own pun) That’s pretty funny there, to say that. There you go!

I say it all the time anyway but now people think I’m talking about your album. Well, that’s good, that’s good.

Well, Donnie, thank you so much, buddy. I appreciate your time and everything, man. Well, thank you buddy, you know I always ap- preciate you and love talking to you.

Well, we’ll catch you down the road real soon. All right, well you take care of yourself Michael and we’ll see you some place soon I am sure. •
