Our way of thinking and producing gardens has stemmed into all the parts of our business including the design, construction and our artificial grass. I have been to a couple of gardens in the same day and seen some of the worst examples of artificial grass. Poorly laid grass, grass laid the wrong direction to itself, bad preparation work, wrong adhesives used and poor joins.
Artificial grasses, as with many products within the landscaping trade, have a way of being used and unfortunately, often when in the hands of inexperienced people, can be a terrible advert for the product. We have been installing and supplying artificial grass for 9 years and very quickly picked up and more often than not created our own ways of doing things. Things that have become rules which have developed as the product has, giving us a massive advantage on our competitors and inexperienced people. Artificial grass is not a particularly cheap product and that is why having a professional who has laid lots of the product is very important, to make sure you achieve the look and finish you want.
We keep many aspects of how we prep and lay our grass under wraps as they are our ways, created to give the best circumstances for the product to work as it should, and be a delight for our customers to have. This is where the ‘Passion for Gardens’ comes in, we don’t sit back and say that will do, we get it right because that’s what I and we believe in. It is paramount that a trades person cares about the work they are doing, especially when it is something that can have such a massive impact on the outside space of the house.
