Attention Men: A simple recommendation for you to have a very happy and relaxed Christmas!

For ages men have tried to answer the age-old question, “What do women want?” A few have come close to enlightenment, but most fail.

A post Christmas 2014 study of 2,000 men and women, concluded that “Buying Christmas presents for women is clearly a complicated minefield, and men have little chance of getting it right.” The report concluded “Beware: Even the most thoughtful of presents can be received with caution by women, who seem to assume that with every gift comes a hint.”

The Top 10 2014 gifts that Men Got Wrong were as follows: 1. Underwear (wrong sizes, wrong styles) 2 & 3. Toiletries and Perfumes (wrong brand, wrong scent) 4. Kitchen Utensils (enough said?!) 5. Cheap jewellery (wrong message) 6. Chocolates (wrong type) 7. Shoes or Slippers (wrong sizes, wrong look) 8. Vacuum cleaner (better find a hotel to stay at that night!) 9. Flowers (wrong type) 10. Exercise clothes or DVD (wrong messsage and living dangerously!).

49% of women put these errors down to “’their man’s dislike of shopping”, 1/5th that “their partner simply doesn’t know what they like” and another 1/5th concluded that “obviously their partner couldn’t be bothered enough to find a present that I like”. As a result one in six couples admitted to having a serious argument over a poor choice of present.

Here at Female Focus we wish to help our many male readers avoid such an awful mistake.

The answer is relatively simple: Handbags and purses have been in the TOP TEN GIFTS TO GIVE for the last 5 YEARS. Gentlemen, look no further, your path to enlightenment (and a relaxed and happy Christmas) may be closer than you think.. .But wait...doesn’t giving a handbag or purse involve choosing the right type of size, design, colour and style for the important lady in your life? Yes of course it does, but at Maria Soler’s handbag shop in Gata there is a secret weapon on your side called.... Maria!

The choice at Maria Soler’s Shop and Museum is immense. From a classic day bag to a neutral tote, to a cross-body party bag, to a heritage bag or to a chic oversized bag and many more, you can find them all at Maria’s bag shop. You describe to Maria the sort of person that your lady is, what her likes are and so on, and together you and she will be able to choose a bag or purse that will go down well. It will also be beautifully wrapped and presented, ready to give on the special day.

Women love handbags not only because they make a fashion statement, but also because a well made and well designed bag is supremely practical, a gorgeous accessory and will last for years.
