Remembrance Day at Ciudad Patricia
On Sunday 8th November, Ciudad Patricia held a concert to not only mark Remembrance Day, but to also support the
charitable aims of the Royal British Legion.
Many of the residents past and present have many stories of their time serving in the British Forces, some funny and some sad, but all told with a sense of pride. During the day there was music from singing duo ‘Constellation’ and Johnny Hobbs. For those of you who know Amanda, Johnny is her father and sings all the hits from yesteryear, whilst playing guitar, all helped along by his drummer. There was also a Flamenco Show and Magic Show. The event raised a wonderful 918.26€ for the Royal British Legion. The cheque was presented by Ciudad Patricia’s Location Manager Nadine Sweers (seated right) and gratefully accepted by Pamela Dawson Tasker and her team.
