The annual Commercial Fair, Pego is on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December. It will be placed in the Market Square and the adjacent Covered Market. L.A.P.S. will be there on the Saturday between 4pm and 8pm and Sunday morning between 10am and 2pm. We will be selling gifts and Bric-a-Brac plus delicious home made soup on the Saturday afternoon - and there will be a Tombola Stall on Sunday morning. Money raised will help L.A.P.S. care for the unwanted animals of Pego. For the dog owning “keep fitters”, Adriana from Nexo has organised a 5km run on Saturday 5th December starting at 16.30 - more details direct from her surgery.

ANTIQUES FAIR - We will be at the Antiques Fair at Salon Canor, Teulada on the 8th December. WINE TASTING - On Thursday 10th and Wednesday 26th at 2.30pm we have a wine tasting together with mince pies and sausage rolls and free liquor for the ladies! This is at a private bodega in Jalon. Wine can be purchased at 2.50€ a bottle they are natural wines with no chemicals. There is no fee but donations to Akira would be appreciated. If you wish to go please contact Pauline on

There will be free tapas, singing by lovely Becky BB and great Mike Lee. If you think you would like to go it would help if you let me know because of catering. We do hope you can come along to some of these things and support us. There is lots more planned for 2016 including the opening of the shelter,watch this space! Harvey is approx 18 months, a handsome dog, but a little bit nervous probably due to being hit by previous owner. He needs a nice family who will take care of him. For more information on any of our animals call 676 534 486.
