Barclay’s Key Holding Service is your ‘virtual neighbour’ offering a rapid response to deal with routine and emergency situations at your home or business (not to be confused with a security guard company). It is a ‘pay as you go’ service, not an expensive all year round contract. It is not necessary to have an alarm to become a member. For just €72 a year, this gives you peace of mind and entitles you to special rates in the event of an alarm or power failure emergency. How Does It Work? Carl arranges a short meeting with you to establish the layout of your property (and alarm system if you have one), and agrees instructions relating to entry procedures for attendance. Carl will attend your property in response to alarm activations at anytime. This is particularly relevant during unsocial hours. When informed of an activation by your alarm monitoring centre Carl attends your property with the keys to investigate the cause of the activation. Regardless of the situation, whether it be of a serious nature or not, Carl will inform you that he is going or has been to your property, and he will ensure that your property is left fully secure in accordance with the reset policy of the alarm company. Routine checks of your property can also be arranged if required, and of course Carl offers his normal locksmith services such as replacement keys should you be locked out, your keys lost, forgotten or even stolen.
