Female Focus Not all Micro-bladers are equal.


Micro-blading is the new addition to the world of cosmetic tattooing, its beautiful crisp strokes and delicate appearance have made it stand out from traditional eyebrow tattoos.


However when something new comes along there are always plenty of people ready to jump on the bandwagon and with that comes a new danger for unsuspecting customers. Many “new” micro-bladers are now appearing and offering discounted offers, this is often because they are still training and do not yet have their certificate, this means they are inexperienced and mistakes can be made.

application and technique is completely different, it takes lots of practice to master, and in the wrong hands can cause a lot of damage. Traditional tattooing methods use machines


which have


a regulated depth that is set on the machine meaning it is difficult to go too deep. With micro-blading however, a hand tool is used meaning the pressure and depth is entirely in the hands of the therapist. Cutting too deep can cause scarring, remember this is on your face.


Branko Babic (World’s Nº1 Micro-blader), trains to a very high standard and admits he finds it easier to train therapists with little or no cosmetic tattooing experience as they simply “learn” the technique. In contrast, therapists who have been using the machine for a number of years find it harder to change their way of working and so it takes them longer to understand the different technique. He also maintains it takes about 6 months for a therapist to master this skill.
