Page 34 K9 is an Animal Rescue Organisation which has operated in the Valencia Region for many years, we are a fully Volunteers needed at K9
legal, non-profit making organisation. The organisation is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who feel strongly about animal welfare and work hard to rescue, care for and re home animals. We rely totally on public donations, fund raising and the income from our two shops to provide the funds to enable us to care for our animals to the high standard which they deserve. We have dogs, cats and kittens ready for adoption and foster. We are looking for people who have a few hours spare a week the help out in the charity shops and on the van doing deliveries and collections. For more information please visit our website at
www.k9club.es or telephone 600 845 420.
Finca San Miguel de Salinas, a great day out for the family.
At Finca San Miguel de Salinas there are 7 horses, 3 ponies, 6 goats, 2 pigs, about 10 chickens and 2 dogs. We can’t take anymore animals, but we like to give these animals a good life!
On the last Saturday of the month we organise an ‘Open Doors Day’, so that you can see our animals. All the money we raise on the Open Doors Day goes towards the animals, for food, hay and vet bills. If you you like to come, you can bring some carrots, apples, old bread, dog food, or donate a little money. It’s also possible to be a member
for 10 Euros a year, or sponsor an animal for 5 Euros or 10 Euros a month. You are more than welcome to join us for a drink or a bite to eat in a nice atmosphere. You can find us on the canal road between Villamartin and San Miguel de Salinas. For more information please visit our Facebook group ‘Finca San Miguel de Salinas’ or email
nicosolm@hotmail.com.
