Join Nieves Barragán Mohacho (GQ Chef of the year) - head chef of Barrafina – as she turns the seahorse into a spanish tapas bar. Recently voted number 1 uK restaurant in the national restaurant awards you’ll be sure of some fabulous tapas. £30. No booking required : just turn up whenever you want – spanish style.

Friends Christine smallwood and Jane Baxter return to the Festival with food, wine and stories from their travels around the northern Italian region of Lombardy. Known for the trendsetting powerhouse of Milan and the playgrounds of the Lakes, the pair will explain and show how there’s a wealth of fascinating food and wine in this region with a selection of delicious tastings. Tickets £25 to include 2 glasses of wine.

Join steve, one of the brewers from this great local company, and learn how to match a fine ale with some tasty food. This will be a great opportunity for ale lovers and food lovers alike to really appreciate the great produce from the south West. This small family run business is offering a 3 course meal (main course consists of meat or veggie sharing platter) with a welcome glass of Prosecco and house wine to accompany your meal. The cost of this is up to you – just pay what you think the meal is worth and all profits will go to local charity Children’s Hospice south West. The Festival Bar
Once again our Festival Bar will be the place to go for that relaxing drink after you’ve shopped, tasted and sampled your way around the markets. Situated on the South Embankment the Bar will be open until 8pm on Friday & Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. The Bar will be showcasing four fabulous South West drinks producers:
• Sharpham Vineyard : award winning wines from the Dart Valley. • Southwestern Distillery : Tarquin’s Gin & Cornish Pastis distilled in Cornwall. • The Dolphin : featuring beers brewed by Bridgetown Brewery, Totnes.
And new for this year : a Bloody Mary cocktail bar hosted by Godminster.
To add to the convivial atmosphere local singer Antonia Suner (sponsored by Godminster) will be performing on Friday and Saturday night from 5.00-7.30pm.
