‘Palette to palate’ 16th October – 8th November 2015


This Autumn we are holding a recipe inspired exhibition to coincide with the Dartmouth Food Festival. The ‘Palate to Palette’ exhibition again combines well- known chefs’ recipes and ingredients worked into original artworks by West Country based artists. We are pleased to announce the following chefs have


agreed to allow us to use their recipes: Nathan Outlaw (Outlaws, London & Cornwall), Mitch


Tonks (The Seahorse, Dartmouth), Fergus Henderson (St John, London), Angela Hartnett (Murano, London), Jane Baxter (Moveable Feasts), Richard Turner (Hawksmoor Group) and Mark Hix (Hix Restaurants, London). The Artists who will be turning the delicious recipes into


art are: James Stewart, Paul Riley, Simon Drew, Alex Miller, Kate Marshall, John Gillo, Fran Gynn, Marc Farrell, Malcolm Cheape and Lorraine Calaora. We will also have some wonderful Japanese food inspired ceramics by Jill Fanshawe Kato. Not only can you


have a beautiful artwork on your wall but you can also cook from it too.

16th October and run right through the Food Festival until 8th November 2015. We also have an Artist in Residence during Food Festival – Falmouth School of Art graduate, Alex Miller.
