IP: Are you seeing any particular trends in the industry at the moment relating to what operators are looking for in new rides and attractions? RH: They are always on the look-out for rides that perform extremely well, have large capacities with multi-person riding and are clear innovations. The whole thing is on fire.
IP: What parts of the world parts of the world would you say are particularly active at the present time with new waterpark developments, i.e. completely new parks or investment in new attractions and facilities at existing parks? RH: Developing countries that are growing their middle-class, like those in Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific, are seeing significant growth. The trend can also be observed with the large multi-national leisure operators; they’re all talking (and doing) significant expansions in these areas (Disney, SeaWorld, Village Roadshow, etc.).
IP: What does the future hold for ProSlide? RH: We are growing our company, expanding worldwide to continue to give special attention to all of our long-term clients. We are pursuing our most aggressive product roadmap ever. The sky’s the limit. We see new shapes, higher speeds, bigger everything!
