over 80 sessions covering everything from F&B, marketing and cash control through games operations, service excellence and intellectual property issues to safety, upselling and incident management – and everything in between! Six institutes and symposiums were also on offer. The learning opportunities also included informative visits to many of


Orlando’s premier attractions and engaging presentations by some of the most respected names in and outside the industry, among them Jim Pattison, Jnr., president of Ripley Entertainment, who provide the keynote address at the GM and Owners’ breakfast.

in Santiago, Chile, as the organisation’s new chairman of the board for 2015, who took over the role from Mario Mamon from Enchanted Kingdom in the Philippines. John McReynolds, senior vice-president, Universal Parks and Resorts, United States, became first vice-chairman and Greg Hale, vice- president and chief safety officer, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, United States, was appointed second vice-chairman. The association membership also elected a new treasurer and five new directors to its board of directors. IAAPA Attractions Expo 2015 will again take place at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, from November 16 to 20.
