UK POOL & SPA EXPO, NEC, BIRMINGHAM, UK
Back To Birmingham
Now into its third year, the UK Pool & Spa Expo returns to Birmingham’s NEC at the end of January 2015. We take a closer look at what visitors can expect to find at next year’s event By Jon Wadeson
W
ith LIW now a distant memory and the US and European shows behind us, the countdown has begun to the
two UK trade shows and first up is the U&K Pool & Spa Expo at the NEC in Birmingham. The exhibition, which is hailed as the
UK’s only independent wet leisure event, will take place next year in the larger setting of Hall 10 at the Midlands venue, with the show running for three days, commencing on Thursday 22 January. The doors will be open for business from 10am to welcome national and international trade visitors to come and see an expected 100 plus exhibitors showcasing their new product lines, best sellers and most competitive pricing structures. The next two days will feature technical content seminars, a new product zone entry way display, networking opportunities for visitors and exhibitors alike – that includes on the stands, in the central hub and at the end of day one drinks party. On the third day the event will be opened up to consumers and with non trade magazines, and prime time TV documentaries reporting that the market is still very much alive and growing, New Events, the organisers of the UK Pool & Spa Expo, are confident that the event will be the place for these savvy consumers to see the best of the industry, with products from around the world

and a host of new launches. With great access by rail, road and air, it makes it the ideal choice to attract as many visitors as possible, with parties, bars and hotels all on site allowing the New Events team to blend a strong business platform with the important social and more relaxed side of the event.
Importantly, the location and venue also make the arrangements for international visitors and exhibitors much more accessible. From its conception UK Pool & Spa Expo wanted to open the UK wet leisure industry to the world, offering an independent and professional event for global buyers and companies to develop relationships – and New Events believe this has worked. In 2014 the event had visitors from over 49 countries

from every continent making up almost 20% of the visitor list.
On top of all this the organisers want to ensure visitors have a great on site experience, so both free in-hall Wi-Fi and free car parking are available for the duration of the event.
As with the last event, visitors to the 2015 show will notice that spas, hot tubs and their associated products are heavily represented in Birmingham, but the organisers have tried hard to make the wet leisure offering on show as all inclusive as possible. With time for the exhibitor line-up still to change, we take a look at just some of the companies and products that have already confirmed their attendance at next year’s event.
