SWIMMING LESSON PROGRAMMES

Learning To Swim The SwimWay

Founded in 2005 by Dan Pastor, SwimWay provides alternative swimming lessons for families who were dissatisfied with the existing swimming programmes of public leisure centres and health clubs. With plans for expansion which could see pool owners profit, we take a closer look at how the company provides lessons in a variety of environments

wimWay is the leading home visit Swimming School in London, providing swimming lessons to babies, children, adults and seniors in exclusive private developments, homes, schools and gyms around South West London. The company also operate eight sites which are open to the general public, including four private pools located in Wimbledon, Kew Gardens, East Sheen and Putney.

S

The company specialise in private and double lessons mostly to children between the ages of three and eight years, as well as parent and baby lessons. SwimWay is extremely proud of its team who have a huge knowledge base and many years’ experience. All instructors undergo constant training and development, ensuring they are the best they can be when it comes to health and safety and teaching techniques. This enables SwimWay to provide fantastic swimming lessons that are also safe, and lots of fun! The company are currently looking to expand their operation and would love to hear from private pool owners (homeowners), pool maintenance companies, property developers, schools and health clubs. They

are particularly interested in the following locations: Clapham, Battersea, Fulham, Chelsea, Kensington, Surrey, Kingston, Hampton Court and Richmond.

PRIVATE HOUSE OWNERS SwimWay already operate in four private homes and dependent on agreed contract hours, could bring in an incredibly profitable income per annum for more, with minimal disturbance to daily home lives. External access to the pool is required. Last year they brought in £49,000 in revenue to one of their private home pools by utilising the space Mondays to Fridays, during hours where the owners wouldn’t usually use the pool. Depending on location and facilities, they are confident that they could establish similar business at other pools.

POOL MAINTENANCE COMPANIES The company are willing to offer up to £1,000 commission for any leads that result in a successful business contract with any pool owners that are recommended to them. They are also willing to negotiate a higher

commission for contracts that are signed with locations that already have an established client base, i.e. health clubs.

The company feel a commission-based partnership could be lucrative for both parties and could lead to a good amount of new business.

PROPERTY DEVELOPERS SwimWay doesn’t yet have its own site and this is something they would love to discuss with anyone interested in building a pool in partnership with SwimWay Ltd. Alternatively, should you already have a site and would consider a long term lease for a purposely built pool facility, the company would certainly be interested in discussing options further.

SCHOOLS SwimWay have been providing swimming lessons and instructors at schools for many years now, including Sheen Mount Primary, Harrodian and Hampshire school. They have developed excellent relationships with these schools, which has helped them with their sterling reputation in the industry. They would appreciate the opportunity to meet with any school with a swimming pool to discuss the possibility of renting the pool space to provide lessons or assisting a P.E. department with the supply of some of the best swimming instructors available in London.

HEALTH CLUBS Last year SwimWay brought in over £250,000 for one of operations they run at one of their health clubs. This was achieved by utilising a full lane of the pool, running lessons Monday to Friday afternoons and weekend mornings.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of the above, please contact Will McCabe at SwimWay who will be delighted to hear from you.
