MORE EXHIBITORS FULL STOP! And it’s looking good – compared to this time last year, exhibitor stand bookings for SPATEX 2015 are ahead of the game! Organiser, Michele Bridle is optimistic for another early sell out (last year the Show sold out some two months before the event) with SPATEX featuring well over a hundred exhibitors. For 2015 the SPATEX team are thinking BIG and the Show is expanding into Halls 1 and 2 of the Ricoh’s Jaguar Exhibition Hall to accommodate more stands and a second Seminar Arena. More space has allowed SPATEX to add more coffee stations so you won’t go thirsty!

MORE INDUSTRY BACKING With a nineteen-year heritage behind them, SPATEX 2015 has received overwhelming support from so many esteemed associations, proving it is very much the industry’s Exhibition. The presence of allied industry bodies gives huge added value and interest to visitors. For the first time ever, PWTAG, (Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group) and STA (Swimming Teachers’ Association) will both be holding keynote seminars during the Exhibition. To meet this demand, a second Seminar Arena has been added.

MORE REPRESENTATION The SPATEX team have ensured that the industry is truly represented. Not only will the pool sector, both commercial and domestic, be well catered for but also spas and saunas. SPATEX is hosting the UK’s FIRST dedicated Spa Sessions Day on Tuesday 3 February. As part of the ISPE-organised programme of Workshops, the industry’s top names have been invited to give a series of talks on the latest guidance and expert advice. Topics will include ‘The water treatment of display spas’, ‘Commercial spa management’, ‘Water treatment for domestic spas’ and ‘Commercial spas versus domestic spas – which type of unit to use where and why’. It’s a must-attend event for all spa companies, operators and owners.
MORE SEMINARS Responding to demand, SPATEX is doubling the education content for 2015. SPATEX is hosting a second seminar programme, to be held in parallel to the ISPE Workshops during the three days of the Show: • Sunday 1 February (11.00) A course in Leak Detection.
• Sunday 1 February (15.00) and Monday 2 February (14.00) Marketing your Wet Leisure Business for Growth and Profit – a talk (organised by Golden Coast) by Marketing Manager, Aren Grimshaw.
• Monday 2 February (11.00 – 13.00) STA - Pool Plant Update
• Tuesday 3 February (10.00 – 15.00) PWTAG – Keeping Pools healthy
MORE WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING The popular ISPE Workshops will themselves have a whole new feel – with 20 new titles and an update of one or two of the old favourites. The programme for 2015 covers all areas of the pool and spa trade, both commercial and domestic. There will also be sessions on new Standards and Guidance that affect all in the pool and spa trade. MORE EXPERTS SPATEX can promise more industry experts than you can shake a stick at! They have lined up 30 eminent experts to give talks on subjects as diverse as drowning prevention, heat and energy conservation and managing health and safety in swimming pools. MORE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES SPATEX will be hosting the SPATA and BISHTA Awards ceremony and dinner on Sunday 1 February. Hot on its heels will be the SPATEX Networking party on the evening of Monday 2 February to which all exhibitors and visitors are warmly invited. For those setting up stands on the Saturday evening before the Show, drinks, food and entertainment will also be available in the Ricoh Arena’s luxurious G casino.
