he Glasgow Business Awards 2014 saw 700 guests turning out to celebrate the city’s achievements and successes over the past 12


months. Now in its 17th year, the Glasgow Business Awards continues to grow in stature and, as this year’s record atendance demonstrated, has firmly established itself as the premier business event in the city. Big winners on the night included Golden


Charter Ltd which won the Glasgow Business Award for Best Performing Business (51 employees or over) as well as the Bank of Scotland’s Award for Most Outstanding Business and Te Business Incentives Group, which was awarded the title of Glasgow’s Favourite Business. Te awards ceremony concluded with


John M Watson OBE, former Chairman and Chief Executive of printers John Watson & Co Ltd, being honoured with the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce Award for Lifetime Achievement. Adding to the success of the evening, the


charity prize draw raised more than £7,000, which was split between Alzheimer Scotland and Te Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice. Stuart Patrick, Chief Executive of
